A note from our founders

The tradition that sparked an idea... 

Birthdays usually include a celebration between loved ones, cake, and of course, presents! Come every birthday, that’s how it was for us. Until one day, the thought of doing something different blossomed...

We both realised that we really didn’t need or want more than we already had. In other words, we felt like more could be given rather than received. 

So, a tradition was born. Starting a few years ago, our birthday gifts to each other, was the gift of giving to charity. After a couple occasions of this, the idea emerged between us.

Once this idea was planted, it grew and grew to become this very platform: Kasi. Now, we can share the ability to spread kindness through gifting donations with anyone.

But birthdays aren’t the only occasion for generosity! There’s festive celebrations, religious holidays, and of course – spontaneous surprises (everyone loves a surprise; the good kind that is).

We hope you will join us, in our pledge to make our own little corner of the world a better place, just by spreading more kindness to one another.
